Reflections 04#
Recently, during PE, I started to think about why music doesn't play during these lessons. How much more pleasant would it be to exercise with background soundtrack? At the gym, most people trains in headphones. On every group training like spinning, music plays loudly from the speakers. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the music distracts attention from the exercises. Instead of thinking about how hard they are or how much time is left, we focus on listening. This is a nice option also because training is a lot easier when it is done to the rhythm. It should be lively, energetic and vital music, that will spur us to life and action. In my opinion students would attend these lessons much more often and willingly if such an initiative came into force.
A simple explanation might be that if there was music, it would be harder for the teacher to give instructions and control the class.
