Reflections 06#
A few days ago I met with my friend for a coffee, to talk about our last party. It was supposed to be a basic teenagers meeting: some gossips, “life update”, school, friends etc. Instead, the topic came down to politics and the conversation was becoming more and more serious from minute to minute until we finished talking about moral issues. It was so interesting and addictive that we couldn't stop discussing. We have almost cried that we had to stop and go home. When I left the coffee shop I was so thrilled that we talked about worthwhile themes. I realized that sometimes I miss such conversations with my peers. I think that life would be better when we (teenagers) would talk more about serious problems rather than stupid topics like our last date or biology test. It's much more pleasant and educating. I also felt better being aware that I have spent these two hours developing and just getting to know the opinion of my friend.
Wow, that's really good news! If you don't get interested in politics, my old age will be miserable.
